Marketing advice for your ECommerce websites

Hello everyone! My name is Zack and I’ve been working in marketing exclusively since 2017. I started selling Yoga products on the side as a hobby, and soon learned what now seems obvious: it’s not what you sell, it’s how you sell it. And I figured I didn’t like Yoga as much as I thought I did, but maybe I could start helping people, who did like yoga, sell their products better. And that’s where it all began for me.
I’ve compiled a few free tips, and I have more details about me at the very end.
Approach
A good example of this concept is shoes! I took on a shoe marketing consultation last year and we implemented what I call a “proud” campaign where we stuck names of local areas, sports teams and icons onto the shoes along with thematic colours and designs: no surprise, we suddenly made a lot more sales.
PM for statistics and data from Shoe Client.
Content
I have worked with several musicians. You’ll find the vast majority of them start out with audio only, bland website and mundane music. You gotta provide entertainment appropriate to who you’re trying to entertain. That’s why, in social media marketing, I like to really go down and dirty with my work and explore the consumer perspective. A great example is eSports, I’ve worked with an eSports league where I actually got myself and my friends into the game, networked, and gave myself the level of understanding I needed to do my job.
My proudest connection having been linking some musicians with popular internet celebrity Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins during the height of his fortnite career, organising the marketing behind several viral Fortnite music parodies with now millions of views.
Culture and Trends
Make use of trends in your business. If something is so mainstream and big, why ignore it? In the past I have made use of the political trends in the American election with a hat company that worked with me on merchandise for both republican and Democrat voters in several states local to their supply chains.
Here’s the impressions from a tweet I made on the first day of creating a company a twitter platform and using trend riding and collaboration to grow it https://prnt.sc/huziu6 4K Impressions on one tweet in 15 minutes - we hit 80k impressions in the first day. Usually, you pay so much money for numbers like these and often they don’t actually get you anywhere. You shouldn’t focus so much on the numbers game with social media. Followers and viewers are strategically manoeuvred by companies and you can not place all your eggs basket.
Strategy
Adapt & Data
Yahoo. Blockbuster. ToysRUs. These are iconic examples of why you need to adapt. Data driven approaches are a great way to take out the emotion from your decision making and marketing. It’s how I like to do it and I recommend it to anyone.
Preparation & Luck
Ultimately, there’s always going to be a degree of luck. No matter how hard you work on your website, someone will always do better with less work by just being lucky. But! You can maximise this. You can be prepared for when opportunity arises. I think some great examples exist in modern culture with the largest streamer in the planet having worked for 7 years straight with good but small success, and then suddenly breaking through and becoming world famous and known by a considerably fraction of the world because he was in the right place in the right time.
Key words
Don’t compete with Twitter for the word Tweet. Everyone reading this will know why. Now apply that concept to your own business. I had a crypto business come to me and ask why their site wasnt doing very well, and i looked through it and saw they never mentioned anything beyond bitcoin. Bitcoin is a very expensive key word to market, with costs of the raw word being as high as 38$ per click. I had to bring them down to earth with harsh truths, and re-engineer their content and targeted vocabulary.

Overcoming Identity Crisis of Today, while Taking a Matrix Pill 2020 and Affecting the Social Trends

The Matrix has you…
The cultural overview over "The Matrix Trilogy" and how it foresaw the social trends.
"The Matrix" trilogy by the Wachowski brothers is the most iconic and groundbreaking movie trilogies in cinema history. Terms like "The red pill", "Dessert of the real", "There is no spoon", "Follow the white rabbit", "Why, Mr. Anderson? Why?" and many other phrases from the film became the golden quotes of the new millennium, shaping the entire culture of the "generation Y"… also known as "the millennials". "The bullet time" effect with fancy acrobatic moves and bullet waves turned into the most quoted gimmick for decades in action films, parodies and video games. The slow motion has never been so cool and slick, as it was after "The Matrix", not to mention sunglasses at night and dark looks with fashionable black leather tailored coats.
Its been 21 years since the theatrical release of the first "The Matrix" film. It came out in November of 1999 (the most revolutionary year in cinema history, since it is the release year of such groundbreaking hit titles like "Star Wars: Episode I. The Phantom Menace" by George Lucas, "Fight Club" by David Fincher, and "The Matrix", of course, by the Wachowski brothers). Four years after the great success of the film, "The Matrix" was reloaded with two worthy sequels: "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix Revolutions" — turning a movie franchise into a full-time trilogy. There was also "The Animatrix" — an anthology of animated short films set in "The Matrix Universe" directed by highly acclaimed Japanese animators, and a video-game "Enter the Matrix" which told a story that went parallel to the story of sequels, explaining some of the unanswered questions in the films. Thus "The Matrix" franchise has become one of the first inter-media franchises where all available storytelling formats told one epic story from different angles and points of view. And unlike other attempts of creating such inter-media franchise around movies (like it was with "Star Wars Expended Universe" or "The Terminator" franchise) it wasn't just pure merchandising and cash-grabbing schemes with questionable product quality having a famous brand logo on it… no, '"The Matrix" franchise was one well thought out project and story from the very beginning, created and curated by the Wachowski brothers. Nothing more or less.
In the year of 2020 "The Matrix" is being reloaded once again with its new instalment being in production. Internet is filled with shaky mobile phone behind the scenes footage of "The Matrix 4". We see Neo, played by actor Keanu Reeves and his stunt double, jumping of high buildings and riding fancy motorcycle with Trinity, played by Carrie Ann-Moss, while the streets of San-Francisco are being turned into a chaotic war zone with explosions, car chases, extras running all over the streets and helicopters flying.
Usually such big blockbuster film productions are being held in secret in order to prevent unnecessary leaks and story spoilers… most of the extras and crew members don't even know what movie they are filming up until the very end. During such big productions fake movie titles are made. But this time, as it seams, filmmakers don't really care about production secrecy, as actor Keanu Reeves and film director Lana Wachowski keep on hanging out with random people on a street during the filmmaking process. What is it? A new viral social media format of film advertising? Or the new way of entire filmmaking approach? Or maybe both?
Either way — Lana Wachowski is the visionary artist that is going to bring something fresh and unexpected into the cinema format and into the new "Generation Z" culture. The Wachowski brothers have foreseen the future with "The Matrix" film almost in every way possible… and I'm pretty sure they are going to do so again. They spoke of cyber-crimes, data privacy and internet control long before Edward Snowden incident, WikiLeaks, Anonymous group, social medias and etc. They showed aircraft controlled by so called "terrorists" hitting skyscrapers years before 9/11. "The Matrix" also tried to warn us about the dangers of virtual realities, and here we are 20 years later using VR systems and spending our lives in endless MMO RPG games (by the way, "The Matrix" franchise even had its own MMO RPG video game "The Matrix Online"). The virtual values have become much more valuable that the material ones. Bitcoins and Facebook likes are considered to be much more precious then real money and even gold by many. Instagram pages are viewed as the only true portraits of their users, however bright filters, happy faces, flattering camera lenses and photoshop have nothing to do with reality. It is merely a "Residual self-image", as it was named in the film, "A mental projection of your digital self". The person sees himself whom he wants him to be, not whom he really is.
And I think that this topic is the most overlooked topic by critics and contemporary culture scholars.
Just think about it — the Wachowski brothers are the physical manifestation of their own concept of "Residual self-image", as both of them saw themselves as someone different. Both brothers were men, but they considered themselves to be women. Their physical reality didn't match with their mental projection of virtual self. Thus they had to do surgeries and go through sex change procedures. The Wachowski brothers are officially sisters. Nowadays in 2020 it is a common practice that can't surprise anyone, however in 1990s during the production of the first "The Matrix" film it was a big deal… so big that Wachowski brothers had to rewrite the screenplay. In the earlier drafts of the script there was a fully flashed out transgender character. She is still present in the final film, but her role and concept has been reduced. Character Switch — portrayed by Belinda McClory — was a transgender, and her name "Switch" meant too illustrate her constant transitions from one form into another, as she was a female in the real world, but in the Matrix her personal "Residual self-image" switched her into a masculine male. For Wachowski brothers it was a very important topic to explore, since both of them dedicated their lives to transgender worldview, but in 1990's the film studio and producers thought that such concepts would be too confusing for average film viewers and difficult to follow, thus it was all cut out during pre-production. Even their first film "Bound" that featured lesbian love story was met with numerous misunderstandings during pre-production, during its filming and, of course, during its release, since such themes were considered too risky… almost taboo, as they could easily put off many unprepared audiences.
But now… look how the world and culture has changed?! In 21 years everything is upside down. It is almost impossible to find a big blockbuster film or franchise or T.V. series or even a video-game that has no lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual, pansexual or any other "something"-sexual character. It is true for both "rated R" and "rated M" media and for media oriented for children. Disney's life adaptation of animated classic "Beauty and the Beast" is the prime example… not to mention more.
I must say that unorthodox sexual orientation of characters were always present in cinema, they were never the subject of prohibition and never will be, however before "Wachowski era" their orientation always played some sort of narrative purpose. No character was supposed to be gay or transexual just for that sake of being such. But nowadays we see LGBT characters all over visual media… and the fact of their orientation rarely enhance the story or add anything to it. For the most part it is just being there for no reason other then being there. No wonder we have so many poorly written stories today. "Chekhov's gun" is the key to good storytelling, isn't it? If you put something into a story, it must heave a purpose, because without purpose it's just a filler, a white noise… this means it shouldn't be there at all. And here I'd like to quote Agent Smith from "The Matrix" films:
"But, as you well know, appearances can be deceiving…" — even here Wachowski brothers point out the previous "Residual self-image" topic. "…which brings me back to the reason why we're here. We're not here because we're free. We're here because we're not free. There is no escaping reason; no denying purpose. Because as we both know, without purpose, we would not exist."
Curious… Wachowski brothers were pioneers in LGBT mass-media, yet even they were smart enough to exclude these themes from "The Matrix trilogy", even having a total creative freedom over the sequels, as they knew that it would serve no purpose in their story. Yet they used much more sophisticated tricks to pinpoint their agenda and worldview. Get ready for some hard drugs! Wachowski brothers urged the protagonist and film viewers to take "The red pill" and "Free our minds". They also urged us to fight against all rules and stereotypes, and young generation loved it. In the film it simply meant "rage against the machines", but in our world where this film was "The red pill" for young people, this fight against the established order had much deeper purpose.
Upon the quick view on the lives of the Wachowski brothers over these two decades we can tell that their "red pill" they were giving us, was simply a androgyne hormone for transgenders and their main "Matrix" they were fighting against, was the sexual orientation stereotypes. They succeeded in their revolution, as LGBT themes are no longer taboo in mass-media. But there were also other important cultural topics Wachowski brothers presented with their trilogy: multiculturalism, racial diversity, feminism and even "toxic masculinity" and war against white men and patriarchy… long before these themes became mainstream in pop-culture.
"The Matrix" franchise had always a diverse cast, didn't it? It also has strong and independent female characters right from the start. And it wasn't just a copycat trend to appeal some social minorities, as it happens today. It was the personal philosophy of the authors. However, despite all their diversity and equality, one social group was shown deliberately one-sided. Just think about it. All evil characters in all three films were male and white. Agents are white middle aged men, Cypher — white middle aged man, Merovingian — white middle aged man, Architect — white man, Bane — white middle aged man, etc. Some can argue on this topic, since white men where also on the side of good guys. True, "but, as you well know, appearances can be deceiving…" says Smith. All white men on the good side of the story are… well, questionable. Whom can we name? Councillor Hamann — played by Anthony Zerbe — is a white man… a father figure in Zion, however he is shown to be an irrational and rhetorical weak old man. Comparing him to other leaders of Zion we can easily see his incompetence. Even Neo makes fun of him, pointing out on a fact that Hamann's solid age doesn't make him wiser (and it is the only time in the whole trilogy when the main protagonist ever trolls anyone). Then there is the Kid — played by Clayton Watson — another white man good guy, but he is just an immature naive boy… in "The Animatrix" he in the moment of danger finds no better way out then a suicide… a very questionable role model, don't you think? Who's next? Mouse — portrayed by Matt Doran — once again a young teenager full of sexual hormones and nothing more. There is also Captain Roland — played by David Roberts — and his ship crew, but a single black woman Niobe — played by Jada Pinkett Smith — turns out to be wiser and much more competent then any of them. Meanwhile all non-white and non-male characters are shown in the positive light. Wait… but what about Neo — the one himself — played by Keanu Reeves — he is a white man — the hero of the trilogy. True. However originally "The Matrix" creators wanted to cast Will Smith for the role of Neo, but Will Smith declined the role and chose to act in "Wild Wild West".
In other words Wachowski brothers brought up anti-white men SJW themes in their films long before such topics became mainstream and part of pop-culture. Thus they weren't even noticed by the time of film release. But it is worth mentioning that Wachowski brothers were depicting anti-white men subplots not because they were following some kind of fashion or social agenda like mass-media does today, but because brothers WERE white and men, and they wanted to do something about it. And they did. For real.
However next generation of filmmakers and artists took the Wachowski brothers' personal issues and turned it into a viral trend, changing the culture forever. It can be even said that the modern SJW and LGBT hysteria is the Matrix, created by Wachowski brothers. I wonder, will their new "The Matrix" film change the world once again?.. and how?

Conclusion

Like other cryptocurrency exchanges, Binance grew significantly in 2017 due to increased interest in cryptocurrencies and a subsequent influx of new users across the space. This growth came with some growing pains, and some Binance users have complained about slow and/or lackluster customer support on Binance’s side.
Moreover, Binance’s contact options are limited, with users not being able to contact Binance in traditional ways, such as via telephone.
Regardless, user reviews of Binance’s support don’t seem to be terrible (when compared to that of other exchanges) and for now, users can submit an email request to contact Binance or reference Binance’s support page or social media pages for more information.

Asperger (me) tragic story (long) about BPD girl I met on the Internet, it ended up very badly, I liked her very much but couldn't understand her feelings or express my emotions in a proper.way

Day 1
I meet a local Taiwanese woman on a language exchange app. I live together with an older woman I met in 2017. She wants to come at the house. She says that she comes from Taichung and will arrive around 3 p.m., with her luggage. I refuse her and ask if a hotel is alright. She suddenly says that she has a boyfriend. I don't understand, she wants to stay at my place, but not hotel? I get kicked out of the house (the older woman thinks that I will have sex with her) and we meet. She wants to go to the house, but I push her to the hotel. Once arrived... She asks for my laptop. She wants to study English pronunciation. She also says that she has depression, and when she goes to see her boyfriend she feels unsafe. I shake her hand. She asks me if I have a car. She laughs at me and after two hours leaves the place. I'm like: but I booked a room for two... She: but I have a boyfriend... and I need to return to the dormitory...
Day 2
She sends me a message, asks me if I can come. I ignore her and she magically appears in at the hotel, from her city it's 30 min by motorcycle. We take a picture together. After that I got a message from the older woman to return. She also wants to go. I refuse and we stay at the coffee shop instead. I pay for her. It's funny, we make a lot of sexual jokes on the computer. We go to the doctor to get her medicine and she starts to cry. She says that her boyfriend says ''you have food, people in Africa don't have so why are you depressed. ''. I shake her hand and say "I will forever be with you. I know your pain.'' She shows me that she swallows 8 !! medicines. Afterwards she brings me to a pier and says ''I want to be with you but I don't know, my feelings change. Sometimes I don't want to return to the dormitory. "' and ''I feel like you only want me because I'm not yours yet.'' I also suffer from depression and Insomnia, but when she messages me, I feel very good. Upon returning home she sends me messages, I say I like her and she says asks to delete it. Quite manipulative.
Day 3
Early day she says good morning, and asks me if I can come. I say no, and she says bye. Suddenly she appears at the coffee shop and she calls me. I feel that she won't last long. She has video call with her boyfriend and attacks me. "'I waited 30 mins!!!'' I said but you came unexpected and I didn't shower yet. She buys clothes and we go to another cafe and I treat her again. We sit many hours and feel happy next to her. I wrote a resume for her. My eyes hurt very much. She says ''I don't mind if you have sex a girl me if you spend a lot of time and money on that girl'', and ''my previous boyfriend broke up with me after I let a man who came to my house kiss me''. We go to the barbershop and she cuts her hair. She leaves me at the station and sends me many messages. She says why don't you cut your hair, I say I don't like short hair, then she says so you don't like me, I say I always think about you, then she says don't do that.
Day 4
I say to her that she reminds me of another girl that has BPD, and I also liked her very much. She is angry and I unsend the message, then she says why unsend. I send heart icon but she says that she wants to preserve relationship and asks to me stop ''kiss'' ''heart'' emoticon.
Day 5
She goes to Northern Taiwan to meet her boyfriend and have a job interview. I want to message me but I want to know if she thinks about me when she's with her boyfriend. I wait... and received a message. I feel good.
I didn't meet her so I had insomnia, I sent her love horoscope between Aries and Leo. She says don't send it because she is with her boyfriend.
Day 6
She spent one night at her boyfriends house but says she will return early morning because she wants to see me. Why not spend the entire weekend with your boyfriend, you love him, right? She says to me that a friendship lasts longer than bf / gf.
After arriving, she acts stupid so that I come to help her on the computer. However I don't go meet her. I don't know what I am to her. A friend? A lover? Just being used? I refuse to go and actually want to end the relationship. I do love her and want to meet her, but I don't want her to use this weakness.
She sends me a lot of messages, asking me to help her with correcting English documents.
Then she suggests to meet the next day. She said that I can be honest and that she will still be my friend?.
Day 7
She wants me to come to her city. Actually it was a lie... She said that wants to go to my house because she doesn't want to cry in public. That was also a lie. She was at the coffee shop the entire time, testing me... Her Chinese is also messed up (perhaps she is seeing me as an idiot). I treat her again and spend the entire afternoon to correct her English. She shows me her iphone chat history and I see her asking a man for money and housing... She talks fondly about me, however. I manage to hug her and kiss her on the right cheek. Her eyes sparkled. Afterwards her friend Fufu comes in and they are trying to trick me into paying their food, because they were quarrelling about paying food.
Day 8
She asks me if I slept well. She said that she going to treat me on a cup of bubble tea but she has no money as student. Now I'm starting to think maybe she is my friend? But later she sends me many messages, asking me again to correct her English. I feel that she wants to meet, but just doesn't want to say it because then she has to come from far away. I also want to see her daily, but I don't want to appear weak and clingy. She is sad that we didn't meet. On days I don't meet her I cannot sleep. I miss her.
Day 9
She sends me a good morning message. Then various heart icons, and says that she wants to come early because it's hot outside. Once arrived at the coffee shop, I give her chocolates as present. She had forgotten to bring her wallet. I treat her to breakfast, she doesn't let me hug her, but I kiss her cheek and she comes closer and we touch each other gently. Outside she is super happy. We go to the department store and treat her on Sushi. She treats me on bubble tea. Her friend (same as previous day) comes... She doesn't like it when I'm together with her. The woman brings me to the station and I say I love you. Afterwards she sends me some messages.
Day 10
I stay in a hotel. I talk about similarities between her and another woman with had BPD I also loved. I tell her that we should end this relationship because I know she will be my enemy one day. She will meet another boy on the app and I'm sure her borderline personality disorder will control her and erase me. She wants me to come, she says that she is tired and wants to meet but that the hotel I stay at is very far. We decide to rest.
Day 11
She comes to the hotel. She wanted to know how much the hotel costs. She watched some movie on my laptop. She skipped to the sex scenes (no nudity, suggestive). I thought that maybe she wanted sex. I tried, but she rejected me Maybe she was on her period, because she asked me for tissues. After 45 minutes we went outside. She paid food for me, and asked how much the hotel costs. I lied and she said ''I know that it costs...''. I bought a screen protector for her iphone. Because I said if I leave Taiwan I want to let you know that I'm always by your side protecting you. We went to the mall, treated her on bubble tea and chicken. She said that she wanted to go to Japan to live together with me. She gave me a hug and we separated. "When you are happy, I'm happy too'', she said.
Day 12 〜 13 Warning!
She sends me a message that she dreamt the screen protector to be broken again. I notice her being online a lot on the app we met. she also stops messaging me. I sense distance. In the first 2 weeks she was never online. Maybe she doesn't like the fact that I live in cheap hotels (gold digger), maybe she expected me to violate her (sex) but I didn't. Or her mental illness devaluating me, and idealizing someone else. I meet someone else and she suddenly starts questioning me a lot. Suddenly, she begs me to not stop chatting. I felt very good talking to her all night. Very happy, I couldn't sleep.
Day 14
She is online all day. She doesn't try to meet me again. When I create distance she says that she wants to meet tomorrow. She says that she is just bored being on bed all day, and I'm a friend to her.
Day 15
She doesn't want to meet me, she is looking for a new partner. When I try to leave her she chases me and deceives me. Again, all day on the app, and I don't like it. I post a negative review and she attacks me. She says that she will kill herself. "'Don't push me away! Let's be friends! We all need love! "' she says. Suddenly she wants to meet, and I want to meet to, but then she won't feel that my anger is genuine. She offers me sex, but is afraid I will see her as a bitch. I think she doesn't want me to leave her. She becomes desperate. She wants to thank me one last time and meet in person. I tell her that I'm stupid for not attacking her that day when she came to the hotel. She tries to call me, I reject. She is scared I abandon her. "Don't push me!'', finally she says that she likes me and will come to see me tomorrow. I actually wanted to see her today because I miss her. Insomnia.
Day 16
I tell her that I forgive her and love her. She makes a stupid joke. We meet near the house and she brings me to the department store. She says that I'm a special person in her heart. She also makes sexual jokes. I pay for her macdonalds and she tells how she wants to go to another island to find a job. I'm a little bit sad because I don't want to leave her. She says that I can visit her anytime. Later, she brings me to the doctor because she is out of medicine. Outside she says that she will miss me and see me off when I leave Taiwan. Once inside, I notice her talking badly about me and hide the chat. I leave (act like I'm angry) and she begs me to return. The doctor gives her less medicine. Apparently, being with me has a positive influence on her wellbeing. Afterwards we go to the pier, she is very happy, sometimes holds my arm. She returns to her dormitory early. Later on a message that she forgot medicine in my pocket, I didn't see any.
Day 17
Strange day. She didn't get the job she wanted. I lost my investment and my account in the app where I met her. This time I went to her city for the first time and I she treated me on tea. I helped her with looking for a position as au pair. She said that her friend doesn't want her to meet me, but I am in her heart so she will always be at my side when I need her. At the end of the day, She was invited to another job interview, I got my account and investment back.
Day 18
Nothing much. Talk about Bitcoin and pachinko. I say that I will meet a friend tomorrow, and she doesn't want me to meet that person.
Day 19 〜 the final day.
She says I should meet my friend and have sex with her. I refuse. She asks me to come, but I'm tired so she comes instead. We meet and she says negative things about me. Like, that I will poison her one day. She is jealous about my relationship with the old woman I'm staying with. The old woman is my friend but she lets me stay at her house for free, gives me food every day, etc. I tell her that her boyfriend doesn't love her, I feel like that. Because when she's in trouble he won't save her. I treat her two times, on food first then later on some drinks. At the end of the day I try to play with her hair and she refuses. We talk about her boyfriend as she slowly drinks the juice, she doesn't want me to go home.
This story made us break up: She met her boyfriend when she missed the bus to Taichung, and stayed at his house for two days. At day 2 he kissed her and she recognized him as boyfriend. He never confessed to her. I felt angry. I meet her 9 times, I confess many times on LINE, yet she won't let me hug or kiss her anymore? I call him her sex friend and she is hurt. She brings me home and sends me message. Afraid I'd not like the story and block her.
Day 20 ~ 25
Morning, message from her. She asks feedback about her boyfriend. Her boyfriend never confessed to her and she had a kiss with him after sleeping two nights at his house. She goes to Nothern Taiwan one time a month to sleep with him. In my opinion, she is a bad girl. I scolded her a lot. I called her a sl*t, gold digger, deceiver, fraud. I told her to die together with her ugly sex friend. I also send pictures of us at the hotel to her friends, and she said that I'm funny because her boyfriend was not on instagram. She turned insane. She said that she only liked me as friend, and asks her ''boyfriend'' if she is his boyfriend, and shows me a screenshot of him saying yes.
Day 23 she blocks then unblocks me.
Day 24 she does that again, permanent block.
Day 26 I try to reach her by mail, phone, maybe there is a misunderstanding. My friend also reaches her but no avail. Her BPD devaluated me.
Finally, I notice her watching my Instagram, so I go to her University. She has seen it. However, no response. I deleted the Instagram account, and farewell. Now I'm very lonely. She healed my mind, I felt so happy... I wanted to see her every day... The weather is good...
So what do you people feel about this story... Any kind of comment is welcome.

This is the new Wallet section. It allows you to manage your Real Pie balance on the exchange directly from the app. Thanks to this feature, Plutus Wallet has finally become a real crypto wallet. It supports the HitBTC crypto exchange only with new exchanges to be added soon.
How does it work?
To start using the new Wallet feature, you must have a Real Pie created first. If you still haven’t got one, read our quick guide on how to create one.
Now let’s dive a bit deeper into the fine details, by using the HitBTC exchangeas an example.

https://preview.redd.it/n4f8wwgwhr231.png?width=720&format=png&auto=webp&s=3c41c7afbeb5e64dc05c2e43d4d5bad71c2f5b51
There are two types of accounts for every coin in your wallet:
Main account — for storing your crypto funds. You can make deposits to your account. Trading account — for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. This is the account for all trading activities you do in Plutus Wallet.
Please note: Each coin has a separate main and trading account!
After you have added funds to your Main account, you can transfer an amount of your choice to the Trading account for trading purposes with one single tap. All trading accounts together make your Real Pie balance. You can find it on the top right of the Wallet screen.
Moreover, with the latest update, you can add and withdraw your funds in a few simple steps as well.
All funds that you transfer to your Real Pie balance in Plutus Wallet can be used for trading purposes only. HitBTC’s security protocols provide all the necessary security and protection and your funds being kept on the exchange.

Add funds directly to your Real Pie

Having carefully analyzed our user’s feedback, we have decided to simplify the process of adding funds to the Real Pie in Plutus Wallet. Before, users needed to constantly switch between the Plutus Wallet app and the HitBTC exchange to add funds to their Real Pie balance.

https://preview.redd.it/rkf61rvlir231.png?width=720&format=png&auto=webp&s=73004c93d8ae4c8b700c53b1048ec90b2457a03e
With this latest update, you can make a direct deposit in Plutus Wallet, without the need of switching to the exchange. Just tap the wallet icon in the middle of the Real Pie to add funds.

https://preview.redd.it/ou8h2xj1jr231.png?width=720&format=png&auto=webp&s=1cf1ad68d1e288fa46f0a281f44a544d1ad06985
The “Add Funds” screen will appear where you can replenish your Real Pie balance via the Changelly exchange platform. The rest is simple. Just follow the 3 steps and add funds.
  • Buy Bitcoin to your BTC wallet address with Changelly. Copy the wallet address and paste it in the Changelly service.
  • Transfer your funds to your Real Pie balance. This action literally replaces the transfer function from the Main to the Trading account on the Wallet screen.
Important: Please note, that the transaction usually takes approximately 10 to 30 minutes to complete. In case of any issues with the transaction, please contact Changelly support.

No more Real Pie restrictions

Up to this point, you could build your real portfolio (Real Pie) with a limit of 5 cryptocurrency coins. In this latest update, we have removed this restriction to allow our users to add any number of coins available on the exchange, and trade them using Plutus Wallet.
For now, the complete list of the crypto coins you have in your Real Pie, can be found only in the Wallet screen. But that’s about to change as well since we’re planning to implement an updated Dashboard screen so that the users will be able to see all the coins directly on the main screen.

General improvements to the Real Pie

We have significantly improved the transaction speed and accuracy of Real Pie deals and enhanced the application’s general performance, making the user experience far more convenient and smooth.
This release is a very important step for us regarding the future development of Plutus Wallet. We hope you appreciate our efforts! Let us know in the comments below.
You can get the last Plutus Wallet update from Google Play for Android. For all iPhones users, download the iOS-version for App Store.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Review of the Cent platform – Gamification of social media

The last couple of weeks I have been reviewing cryptocurrencies that try to do things differently and have been working throughout the long outdrawn bear market to actually deliver on their promises.
One of the things that really stand out to me and that I find immensely interesting are the projects that are changing the way consumers are treated and rewarded. Since the internet era the biggest companies on the planet have evolved their earnings model from having to pay for a product or service to giving their product or service for free but monetizing the customer itself in the process. At the birth of this model it seemed fair and perhaps it was, I don’t expect companies to deliver anything for free, but in the subsequent decade it has evolved into an ever intrusive character. Something that is evident in, for example, the way Facebook has been getting in the news in the recent years.
📷
There is a high possibility that it changed this way due to the continuous pressure of having to show better yields every quarter to your shareholders. Understandable but not sustainable, and more importantly, not in the best interest of your customer in any way imaginable.
Where we initially looked at these companies with a sense of amazement and awe, we now look at them with a sense of distrust and in some cases even fear. We are afraid of how they use our data, if they are spying on us and if they are selling our information to the wrong people and/or companies.
Freedom of expression seems to get decimated with every year passing, seeing content creators getting demonetized and even censored and expelled. Besides that, the distribution of income seems to be unfair, with the content creators getting only a very small piece of the pie for the content that they actually created, while the platform that does nothing but host this content gets the biggest share. At the same time content consumers are getting bombarded with advertisements, even more frequent than on cable television, and are in no shape or form rewarded for their time spent on the platform.
That’s why I’m so thrilled to see platforms like Steemit, BitTube (see review here) and Cent come to fruition. Initially Bitcoin, and cryptocurrencies weren’t invented to deliver these kind of solutions, but it seems to be one of the most exciting use cases being realized. Not only does it help in making an economy less dependent on (central) banks, large institutions and governments, they also help in changing the way we look at how we should spend our time to make a living.
📷
The entire 40 hour workweek - slaving your time away so the top CEO can make an extraordinary living while the bottom 90% can just get by - system is heavily due for some change. Ultimately I understand that top level businessman deserve more because they have more responsibilities, more pressure and, in most cases, are more skilled, but I also believe this system is in place because most of us just don’t know any better. this is how it has been for a very long time.
In recent years we have seen a switch to entrepreneurism and solopreneurs, mostly because of the opportunity of the internet and being able to reach the entire world from every place on the world, but in a way they still rely on sites like Google, Facebook, Instagram etc. to get some attention and get a % of that traffic to their own site and make the sale there.
But what if everything you put out there actually is monetized from the start. What if you don’t have to give the biggest part of those earnings to big companies only hosting your content. What if you could make a decent living solely on the income that you receive from the content you create from the start, not after reaching an arbitrary amount of followers. What if people watching and consuming what you put online decided what the value is.
A worldwide, 24/7, free market of skills and productivity. Get rewarded (and judged) for what you get out there.
📷
There we go, the intro is a bit long and I hope I didn’t lose you in the process, but that is what Cent is trying to achieve, or better yet, is achieving.
Blockchain is enabling, or maybe even forcing social media in a new direction, where the content creators and consumers not only decide what is valuable but where the most valuable content is rewarded the most. The best content gets watched/read/viewed the most and gets the biggest rewards. Content consumers can share the content and get a part because they get the content distributed further. It’s inevitable that this way of social media 2.0 is where we will go and how we will revolutionize the concept.
Show me the incentive and I will show you the outcome.” As Charlie Munger would say.
Why would content creators and consumers not go towards the platform that gives them a fair cut? Coincidentally I read today that the biggest Youtuber Pewdiepie, who has over 90 million Youtube subscribers, has seen the light and is thinking about switching to a blockchain based videoplatform.
Amazon charges a 50% cut from channel subscriptions on their Twitch platform. 50%. Fifty Percent. For hosting YOUR content. Oh and BTW, the government will take another 50% of that, thank you very much (well at least here in the Netherlands).
Of course people will flock to different platform where they will receive almost all of the revenue created by their own content. It’s simple economics. But people will have to learn about the possibilities.
📷
So, ahum, again, CENT the social media platform based on Ethereum – have to stay focused
I will refrain from diverting from now on. Here’s the quick rundown of how it all started.
Cent is a Dapp build on the Ethereum network. Founded by two guys that have a rather different background. Max Brody has a background mostly focusing on design and Cameron Hejazi had a software background working at an advertisement bureau.
Cameron learned first hand how the advertising monetization model works and detested it. Max wasn’t happy with the lack of possibilities for freelance entrepreneurs. Both were looking for a fair alternative model for content creators to earn an income. Both learned about, and loved, cryptocurrencies. They met each other, it clicked and boom – a new team and business was born.
In essence Cent is a social media 2.0 platform. There are no ads to be found. Instead content creators are rewarded by the quality of the content they deliver, and content consumers are rewarded by spreading said content and ranking replies to bounties.
📷
Let’s start with the bounties.
Cent has a vision where everyone can make an income online by getting rewarded by the skills they possess. Let’s say that you just wrote a book, the writing is done, however, you still lack the cover image. You put out a bounty on the cent platform giving away 20$ worth of Ethereum for the person that can create the best cover image. A couple of designers give it their best effort, and at the end someone is chosen to be the winner and receives a large chunk of the bounty. Not all though. Other people on the platform are incentivized to rate the cover images so a winner can be chosen. 20% of the bounty is reserved to these people for the ranking process (disclaimer – these rates can differ at the time reading this review, it’s mostly to help you understand how the gamification works).
In the end this means that a couple of designers had a shot at getting their work out, got a platform to show their designs and were rated for their effort. Someone earned the large part of the bounty and the original provider of the bounty has a cover image for the book. That’s not all though, they also receive the information of what the crowd thinks is best, in essence a very valuable market analysis.
Raters receive a part of the bounty for their effort as well and everyone can look at the entire ordeal as a success, and worth their time.
So far bounties are found in a vast array of possibilities and subjects, ranging from logo designs to product reviews to just wanting to receive some interaction on their posts. The first bounty I received was a tiny amount of Eth simply by replying with my twitter handle because someone wanted to create a list of ‘Centians’. Quite literally the sky is the limit here (within the legal possibilities of course).
The bounty system works and it is the way Cent started. The founders quickly found out though that not everyone is willing to place bounties on every posts they create so they developed a seeding system.
When people seed a post they give a bit of money to the original content creator but also receive a part of the money that gets injected by people seeding the same post after them. What they essentially do is bet on the future potential of that post thinking that it will get traction, and more people will also seed that post after them. People generally will only seed a post because they value that particular content. Be it a review like this, a picture a meme or whatever, so the content creator gets instant valuation on what he or she creates.
What it also does however is create someone that is now invested in this post, hoping to receive a part of the next seeders income by spreading the word. The gamification is terrific and it creates fans of certain content creators, but more importantly creates an entirely new breed of content consumers. Essentially ‘content-scouts’ looking for the next awesome post that could go viral.
The entire thing works on top of the Ethereum network, and the entire financial aspect can be handled by using a web 3.0 wallet like Metamask which works as intended.
📷
As you can probably tell by reading the review I am pretty stoked by the entire idea, especially since I intent on delivering quite some content for years to come. There are however a couple of negatives that have to be addressed.
I have to start with the amount of traction the platform has generated so far. I know it’s still very early but looking at Twitter, Reddit and Telegram stats we are looking at a very small (but dedicated) group of people. This also means that the amount of money earned from bounties and seeding so far is tiny. This of course can grow with more attention but it also poses a risk to fully get invested in a platform where it remains to be seen if it grows to their potential. They aren’t the only social media disruptor that I have encountered.
It’s also a risk to have the entire platform build on the Ethereum network. I still am on the fence of the future of Eth, it could remain to be the most stable to run Dapps on, but what if we have another surge in attention and traffic and the network gets congested. What does that mean for Cent?
📷
Besides that the platform isn’t fully decentralized and utilizes a combination of Cloud storage and blockchain technology to run. Decentralization maximalists might object to that idea, but for me personally that isn’t a big issue so far. If another projects manages to let this function in a fully decentralized way they might lose market share though.
And lastly the design of the platform isn’t really beginner friendly enough. After a while I managed to understand what everything meant and what every button does, but I did have to read multiple help pages and how-to documents. For the average ‘crypto- and social-media-nerd’ it might be easy to figure it all out, but the platform would really benefit from displaying popups on hovering over the icons.
Some of these downsides are nothing more than that. However, especially the dependence on Ethereum and whether or not Cent will get the needed traction will determine if this platform succeeds or get’s left behind.
Personally I really feel that they have a good chance of luring in more and more people with the extremely interesting gamification of creating and consuming content. And this will be key. They need to grow the amount of users to ensure the content available is wide enough for more people to check on the platform, in turn increasing the amount of Eth available for bounties which in turn will increase the incentive for posting content resulting in more traffic. If done right it will be a self-reinforcing loop. I will definitely continue posting my content on the platform, interact with the Centians that I encounter and report on any major changes of the project in the future!
That concludes this review! If you want to add anything or have questions, please feel free to comment below.

HAPPY PIZZA DAY TO ALL THE BITCOIN COMMUNITY

Happy pizza day to all the bitcoin community!
"On May 22nd, 2010 a man in Jacksonville, FL paid 10,000 bitcoins for 2 pizzas (40$ at that time). The world's first Bitcoin purchase."
When they asked him about spending 10.000 bitcoin he replied
The pizza was good

I think art and new images bitcoin related can help "everyday people" (who don't know anything about the topic) to approch bitcoin in an easier way, it's like telling a story about what's behind bitcoin, the philosophy, the magic, the amazing world.

Top 5 Promising Blockchain Projects In South Korea

Top 5 Promising Blockchain Projects In South Korea
Top 5 Promising Blockchain Projects In South Korea
Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are among the few divided subjects in South Korea. Yet there would be hardly any Korean who doesn’t know about these buzzwords. Ofcourse, Korea is one of the hottest crypto-markets responsible for more than 30% of the world’s cryptocurrency trading volume. Buying and selling of Altcoins is bread and butter of many Koreans despite the ban on ICOs back in 2017. However, with the expertise in technology and infrastructure, the crypto scene has skyrocketed making Korea the cryptocurrency hub of the world.

https://preview.redd.it/whdh5rjjad821.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=abfbe10670e6716d819996ccb8b0ca1c6a70d42c
Within the last 2 years, lots of blockchain projects have popped up from various industries ranging from government, finance, banking, health, gaming, gambling, and sports. Here we present you the top 5 promising blockchain projects in South Korea.
1) ICON — also known as Korea’s Coin ICON is the most valuable blockchain project in South Korea. They were managed to raise 150,000 ETH during the successful ICO last September and by now, with the market cap of around 100,000,000 USD, it is ranked among the top 40 cryptocurrencies in the world and has been the only Korean project to make it to top 100 currencies listed on CoinMarketCap. ICON provides blockchain platform for industries like industries banks, insurance, games, universities, and hospitals.
2) FANTOM FANTOM is the world’s first DAG based smart contract platform that solves the issue of scalability and confirmation time of the existing blockchain technology. Their token sale ended in June 2018 and they were able to successfully raised around $39,653,398 of $39,400,000 (101%). They aim to solve existing problems related to supply-chain management, food, telecom, banking, and real estate.
3) KORBIT Korbit is the world’s first cryptocurrency exchange offering bitcoin-korean won exchange. Coin holders, (or should we say HODLERS due to current market) can easily exchange the cryptocurrencies on the secured web platform. Since Koreans have invested in altcoins more than anyother nation, this exchange is quite popular among the locals. They were also managed to raise $3.6 million from top investors and crypto-enthusiasts.
4) Futurepia - EOS Killer Futurepia is a blockchain designed especially for high traffic DApps while solving the problems of security, speed and scalability of existing solutions. Futurepia.io has developed a new DDPoS (Dual Delegated Proof of Stake) algorithm (patent pending) which is a considerable improvement over DPoS (EOS) both in terms of scalability and security. The mainnet has already been released and has demonstrated 300k transactions per second in the test environment (certified by KOLAS). Recently Futurepia has won the “Blockchain Innovation Award” in Seoul and won the 1st place at “Blockchain Leadership Summit” in Switzerland.

5) Cosmochain In simple words, Cosmochain can be called as Instagram on blockchain designed especially for cosmetic lovers. Cosmochain took the advantage of massive Korean beauty market and decided to build the DApp connecting customers and industries through a coin ecosystem. Users will be able to gain coins and earn tokens by actively using the DApp, commenting on other users’ pictures and voting for their favorite content. Cosmochain was also able to conduct a successful ICO and few major crypto funds invested in it including #Hashed.

VLLBLVCK, #METOO + TIME’S UP

VLLBLVCK Offers All-Black Fashion In Support of the Time’s Up Movement
In so many ways, 2017 was a defining year for women in Hollywood and entertainment. The #MeToo movement became a national phenomenon, women across the world suddenly felt empowered to share their stories of sexual harassment and sexual violence, and the color black became a new symbol of solidarity with women who have been unfairly harassed or held back.
In support of this broader initiative, VLLBLVCK will now be donating 10% of all profits from its line of women’s and men’s all-black clothing to support the Time’s Up initiative, which was founded in January 2018 by a number of luminaries within the Hollywood and entertainment world. Time’s Up is related to the #MeToo movement, in that it supports courageous women worldwide who are sharing their stories. However, it goes one step further by providing a legal defense fund for women who are facing financial duress as the result of sexual harassment or sexual violence.
As a result, whenever you wear all-black fashion from VLLBLVCK, you are doing your part to help raise consciousness about the many obstacles still facing women in today’s world. The color black, quite simply, is the new uniform of the modern woman, unafraid to speak truth to power. At the Golden Globes event earlier this year, brave women like Natalie Portman and Meryl Streep wore black gowns in support of the Time’s Up movement. And now powerful women everywhere are wearing black dresses in support of this idea. The idea is a powerful one: a simple fashion statement — wearing black — has the power to change the world.
And that message resonates with the mission of VLLBLVCK, which was founded on the idea that all women should be able to live the lives they have always dreamed, to pursue their ambitions and passions, freed from the constraints of society. We have created a line of all-black clothing that is timeless and iconic — much like the Hollywood stars who are leading the Time’s Up movement and unifying women worldwide.
The iconic appeal of the color black is what inspires us on a daily basis to create clothing that makes women feel empowered, strong and confident. Whenever you walk into a room wearing VLLBLVCK, we want you to be able to project a sense of confidence in yourself as a woman. As Giorgio Armani once remarked, “Elegance is not about being noticed, it’s about being remembered.” When you wear VLLBLVCK, you will always be remembered — not just for what you are wearing, but also for your beliefs.
The new summer collection from VLLBLVCK features four new dresses — a hollow out party bandage dress, a cotton midi club dress, a summer slim sleeveless dress, and a ¾-sleeve skater dress — all in black, and all designed to be iconic symbols of the modern woman. You can view these new dresses over at https://www.vllblvck.com/, where you can shop for women’s and men’s fashion items, as well as an exciting new line of accessories. (As an added bonus, there is free shipping worldwide and VLLBLVCK accepts all major credit cards, PayPal and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Litecoin.)
And remember — 10% of all profits will go to support women via the Time’s Up initiative. Through its line of all-black fashion clothing, VLLBLVCK stands with you in protesting sexual harassment and raising awareness of women’s issues in today’s society.
With love, ⚫️ Emylee, VLLBLVCK Founder
